Privacy policy

Short version: ads from Google AdSense and Google Analytics are only loaded if you accept; a separate, cookie-free counter (GoatCounter) measures aggregate traffic. You can change your choice at any time via "Manage cookies" in the footer.

Cookies and local storage

Three small values are stored in your browser's localStorage, never on a server: your chosen language, your preferred time zone, and whether you accepted or refused ads.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

If you accept, Google AdSense loads on the site to show advertising. AdSense uses cookies and may process device and browsing data to personalise ads. If you refuse, AdSense is not loaded at all — no AdSense cookies are set, no requests are made to Google's ad servers from your browser. You can change your choice at any time via "Manage cookies".

Analytics

We use two tools. GoatCounter counts page views in aggregate without cookies, without fingerprinting, and respects Do Not Track. Google Analytics 4 is loaded only if you accept in the consent banner — it sets cookies and processes usage data; if you refuse, it is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time via "Manage cookies".

Server logs

The web server keeps short-lived access logs (IP, requested URL, user-agent) for operational purposes. They are rotated automatically.

Your rights

Since no personal data is collected by the site itself, there is nothing for us to request, delete or export. If you accepted ads and want to manage what Google collects, see Google's advertising preferences. For any question, reach out via the email below.
